“ Cozy spot with great food! My favorites were the bone marrow and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The bone marrow was nice and flavorful and it came with a side of salad. For the price, you really can't beat it. My friend and I just shared a bunch of apps, which I always recommend when you wanna try it all! Perfect spot for a date night or dinner with friends! Service was great as well. The server also offered my own tomato soup free of charge. Sweet touch! ”
“ The food here is sooo yummy! Everything we had was delicious. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for such a good price for the volume of food you get. The prices were not as high. The interior is so cozy reminds me Of a beautiful restaurant in a cabin resort area. The staff and service was great as well. The parking area is big and reservations are easy to Make online. I am Coming back for sure ”
“ Fantastic place with fantastic food and amazing service! Truly enjoyed spending my wedding anniversary with my darling bride at this charming place. Enjoy the food and felt that prices were fairly reasonable. ”
“ Went to a beautiful elopement at Gibbet Hill on 12/29/24. The event took place in their loft "private function" space. The waitstaff were attentive and quick to bring out rounds of drinks when ordered. The restaurant was loud but that can only be expected of an inviting place that offers a good atmosphere to their patrons. My husband and most of the wedding guests had the filet and it was tender, cooked perfectly, and along with the mashed potato's and green beans were fresh and well flavored. I got the potato crusted haddock and corn chowder, it was fabulous. The haddock was placed on top of the chowder so presentation was really nice, flavor was great and again good tasted so fresh. Both tables had charcuterie to start and everyone agreed the variety was spot on. Dessert was chocolate cake or apple crisp. We went with the apple crisp and it was served perfectly warm. Overall we can't wait to go back for a date night and experience more of the menu! Hope to do so this 2025 year ”
“ Food was delicious and service was smooth. The atmosphere there is also pleasant. This was tge second time I was there and would go back again. ”
“ 5 for food and service we were waiting for a table at the bar and the hostess came over and sat us at that booth table Atmosphere 4 it was nice and decorated and candles lights. There's two floors upstairs is more rustic downstairs is as well but also cozy The steak and fries were amazing. The Mac and cheese side was a bit small but still good. I was full and had steak and eggs this morning ”
“ Wendy was so wonderful! So personable and so honest with recommendations. This restaurant is so beautiful inside and is in an open setting. The Brussels sprouts app is a must try! The fried green tomatoes, while very tasty, probably won't be repeated next time. My husband's ribeye was outstanding. With the blue cheese butter! Mushroom side dish is a must! Macaroni and cheese was just ok for me. My potato crusted halibut corn chowder was well prepared. Must love corn chowder! And I do! Chocolate pot de creme with salted caramel is a perfect ending. I got the Dalliance cocktail. Will ask for Wendy next time! She is so wonderful! ”
“ Great service, great ambiance, very good drinks and solid to very good food. Def not wow worthy in the price space they're operating in - but that's probably ok for most. ”
“ Second try at birthday dinner and was very happy with the food and service. Gibbet (pronounced JIB-bet) Hill is a lovely 500 acre farm. The views from the restaurant were beautiful. We were lucky to sit right by the large, long window looking out at the cows and rolling hills, there was even a small crane wondering around the flowers/garden! Service was impeccable, our server was knowledgeable and so nice and gave great recommendations on the wine. Every day they post the fresh items picked from the garden. The warm rolls and cornbread with maple syrup butter were so yummy, I could've eaten 10 buckets. We started with the crab dip which was very cheesy and heavy. Definitely something to share as I could only eat a few bites. My filet was perfectly cooked and came with two sides. The potatoes were a runny consistency but they tasted great and the mushrooms were perfect and flavorful. Pot pie was delicious and came out piping hot in a skillet. Filled with potatoes, peas, carrots, and soft chunks of chicken. Kids drinks were large and only $5. Kids ice cream sandwich ($2) had homemade cookies filled with vanilla ice cream. Lavender creme brûlée was tasty and perfect sugary crust. Blueberry sorbet was so pretty and huge! Coffee came with the cutest cream container. Do they sell those!? After dinner our server suggested walks on the farm but we were unable to find the chickens or pigs but saw a ton of cows! There is also a part of a castle somewhere on the property as well. Will definitely be back again! Lots of parking and a nice drive up to the door. ”
